Job summary

Marsh in Manila, Philippines is seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development Team. This hybrid role requires three days in the office weekly.

You will attend sales meetings, conduct market research, and deliver assigned sales targets for Insurance products. Ideal candidates hold a Degree in Business/Sales or Marketing, are fluent in Japanese and English, and have 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in insurance broking or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and meet SALES TARGET for Insurance products.

• Draft due diligence reports and basic financial analyses to assist deal work.
• Present findings to internal seniors for sales support.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development Team at Marsh. This role will be based in Manila, Philippines. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role, you will attend sales meetings and presentations, market research on trends, development and reporting but most importantly deliver assigned Sales target for Insurance products.

We will count on you to:

• Deliver and meet SALES TARGET
• Arrange, attend and present to prospect with aim in closing the deal
• Attends and assists with sales meetings and presentations lead by senior level colleagues for varying types of accounts to gain exposure and insight as to market best-practices.
• Seeks and possesses an in-depth understanding of the business service offerings and products and applies it to market research and client appraisals.
• Assists senior level colleagues on various aspects of the deal process in various industries or regions to gain practical knowledge and experience.
• Conducts routine research on market trends or developments and existing business to assist in analysing opportunities and identifying and evaluating additional client or market needs.
• With supervision, drafts due diligence reports and presentations which may include qualitative and quantitative market or product findings and including basic financial analyses to assist senior colleagues with live or potential deal work.
• Presents findings and unique ideas regarding product work or market research to internal senior level colleagues to be utilized for sales work.
• Belongs to various professional organizations grows a large professional network

What you need to have:

• Degree in Business/Sales or Marketing
• Fluency in both Japanese and English (written and spoken) is mandatory
• Must have legal working rights in the Philippines
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably with experience on non-life insurance broking or within the insurance industry
