As a Client Service Administrator (Income Reconciliation) at 5 ELK, you will play a key role in supporting our UK-based clients by processing income using various CRM systems in the Financial Services sector. The role involves working with Advice Firms to reconcile income, close accounting periods, and generate reports. Financial services experience and knowledge of income types and accounting are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Review existing practices and policies to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Ensure all statements uploaded to the portal are reviewed and processed in a timely manner to avoid delays.
- Process income received via EDI, CSV, or PDF formats, raising queries with clients to obtain any missing data, entries, or statements.
- Collaborate with clients to agree on timelines and manage the closing of accounting periods.
- Generate and deliver agreed reports in line with month-end close-down procedures.
- Effectively manage income reconciliation for assigned clients, demonstrating value and mitigating risk.
- Support client audits by ensuring timely completion and providing accurate information to inform any necessary service or data adjustments.
- Conduct debtor analysis for firms experiencing data discrepancies or requiring pricing adjustments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and other related fields
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial services environment
- Over 3 years of experience working with financial services software
- Strong understanding of various policy and payment types
- Solid grasp of accounting principles
- Solid understanding of available income functionality

- Extensive expertise in income reconciliation functionality within back-office systems.
