Job summary

Bank of Commerce (Philippines) seeks a Branch Teller to ensure efficient service delivery of basic frontline tellering functions and over-the-counter transactions in the branch, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and ethical conduct.

You will greet clients, verify identities, process cash receipts and payments, handle vault cash under supervision, and support smooth branch operations. Fresh graduates are welcome; strong communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year degree course.
• Open to Fresh Graduates.
• Good communication skills and great customer service handling.

Responsibilities

• Serves clients and greets all clients transacting at the counter with a smile and warm disposition using the standard greeting spiel for frontliners.
• Executes regular and assigned functions in strict adherence to existing rules and regulations, delivering services in a timely, competent and friendly manner.
• Acts as a primary holder of Vault teller user ID and validates cash transfer from/to Vault and Cash Center in BDS-SIBS system.
• Acts as alternate custodian of keys and combinations as designated by the Area Head.
• Establishes true and valid identity of clients transacting at the teller’s counter with caution during withdrawals, encashments, and representative transactions.
• Makes cash requisitions based on anticipated cash requirements and transfers cash to the vault, ensuring proper support and approvals.
• Verifies cash received from vault, ensuring accuracy of cash on hand.
• Accepts and receives cash, check deposits and various payments over the counter for both peso and FCDU accounts.
