Job summary

WrkPod Inc. is seeking a meticulous bookkeeping professional to deliver accurate financial records and proactive client support across a diverse client base in the Philippines. The role focuses on BAS preparation, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.

You will handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly BAS, while ensuring compliance with Australian tax requirements. Strong communication and process improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience and BAS preparation.
• Solid knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage deadlines and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and supporting the Management team
• Managing bookkeeping for a number of clients
• Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger reconciliations
• Preparing financial reports including profit and loss statements and balance sheet information
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Complying with relevant reporting requirements
• Checking and verifying source documents such as invoices and receipts
• Processing receipts in Hubdoc/Dext and matching in bookkeeping software
• Conducting bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Monthly and Quarterly BAS preparation
• Communicating proactively with clients and following up outstanding information
• Preparing reports and other client correspondence as required
• Supporting continuous improvement in systems, processes and working papers
• Recording the financial transactions of various businesses in bookkeeping software (including Xero, MYOB & QBO)
• Meeting monthly KPIs
