Economic Impact Catalyst (EIC) seeks an energetic Client Experience Associate who thrives on building relationships and helping others succeed. This fully remote role guides small business program managers from onboarding to strategy development and beyond, leveraging our Catalyzer platform to maximize impact.
You’ll lead client calls, prepare agendas, document interactions, and coordinate projects with a collaborative team.
The Role
Economic Impact Catalyst (EIC) is the #1 solution for building and scaling small business support programs through cutting-edge software and enterprise solutions. Our SaaS platform Catalyzer, powered by Startup Space, helps small business program managers drive economic growth through data-driven decisions and strategic interventions.
We’re seeking an energetic Client Experience Associate who thrives on building relationships and helping others succeed. This role is perfect for individuals with creative thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a flair for technology who want to provide impeccable support to small business program managers. You’ll guide clients through their entire journey with EIC—from onboarding to strategy development and everything in between—helping them maximize their impact in their communities.
This is a client-facing role where you’ll meet with small business program managers throughout your shift on a regular daily basis. The ideal candidate is genuinely energized by speaking with others, building meaningful relationships, and helping clients pursue their organizational goals of supporting entrepreneurship and economic growth.
Capability Over Tenure
We hire for what you can do, not how long you’ve been doing it. Less than a year of experience? If you read the responsibilities below and know you can deliver, apply.
This role is fully remote. You’ll have a strong team behind you, but you’ll drive your own work. We expect you to figure things out, ask the right questions, and own every task from start to finish.
What You’ll Do:
Client Partnership: Build strong, trusted relationships with small business program managers, serving as their primary point of contact and advocate at EIC
Meeting Leadership: Prepare and execute meeting agendas, lead client calls with confidence, and facilitate productive conversations that drive client success
Documentation Excellence: Take detailed notes during client interactions and maintain accurate records that ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Follow-Through: Prepare and send timely follow-up emails, action items, and resources that keep clients moving forward
Project Coordination: Monitor the status of client projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved
Internal Collaboration: Communicate client needs effectively with the broader client experience team, embodying our values of empathy and usefulness
Strategic Support: Help clients develop and execute strategies for their small business support programs using our AI-powered platform
Onboarding & Education: Guide new clients through platform implementation and help them build confidence using EIC’s tools
Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate client needs and address challenges before they become obstacles
You’re a Perfect Fit If You Have:
Ownership: When something lands on your plate, you see it through. You follow up without being reminded, flag problems early, and don’t wait for permission to fix what you can fix.
Curiosity: You ask why, dig into how things work, and teach yourself new tools. You approach challenges with curiosity, ask great questions, and quickly grasp new concepts.
Relationship Energy: You’re genuinely energized by speaking with others and naturally motivated to help clients succeed.
Communication & Listening: Strong verbal, written, and listening skills. You understand what clients need, even when they don’t explicitly say it.
Organization & Reliability: You’re detail-oriented, responsive, and able to keep multiple clients and projects on track.
Technical Aptitude: You’re comfortable with SaaS platforms and computer tools, including working alongside AI-powered tools.
Bonus Points, but Not Required:
Interest in small business, economic development, or nonprofit work
Curiosity about or experience using AI tools
Familiarity with CRM or project management tools, from any setting
What We Offer:
Mission-Driven Impact: Your client support directly helps small business program managers create economic opportunity and support entrepreneurship in their communities
Remote Flexibility: Work from anywhere with a computer and stable internet connection
Relationship-Building: Spend your days doing what energizes you—connecting with people and helping them succeed
Professional Growth: Explore the end-to-end journey of customer experience and develop valuable skills in a growing SaaS organization
Collaborative Culture: Join a team that values empathy, authenticity, fearlessness, and productive collaboration
Benefits: Competitive compensation and generous paid time off, paid sick leave, and paid volunteer time, as well as observation of public holidays
Make a Difference: Be part of a company that’s transforming how communities build stronger economies
