Premier Fiduciary Pte. Ltd. seeks a seasoned Certified Accountant to lead a team in handling financial accounting, statutory reporting, tax reporting and administrative matters for a diversified client portfolio.

The role covers IFRS/ Singapore tax regulations, consolidation, management accounts for Singapore/Hong Kong/offshore jurisdictions, payroll, and active tax advisory support with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experiences.
  • A recognized degree in Accountancy and professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA.
  • Excellent client servicing skills and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle full sets of accounts.
  • Extensive knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, CPF, GST and relevant tax rules.
  • Strong experience in consolidation using Excel and year-end statutory financial statements.
  • Positive attitude, hardworking and able to work independently.
  • Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to staff.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards is an advantage.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel) and knowledge of Word/Payroll software.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an allocated portfolio of clients and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Prepare interim/full reports (including consolidation) per IFRS/Singapore tax regulations for dedicated client portfolios.
  • Prepare management accounts for Singapore, Hong Kong and offshore jurisdictions.
  • Prepare financial statements (Unaudited) and XBRL reports.
  • Prepare/review management accounts, reporting packages, statutory accounts, GST returns and payroll tasks.
  • Review work of team members, monitor and train staff.
  • Lead and manage engagements with minimal supervision.
  • Assist leadership in tax compliance and advisory services for corporate clients.
  • Prepare tax computations and income tax compliance work, including individuals and SMEs.
  • Handle tax reviews, audits, planning and group restructuring inquiries.
  • Be main point of contact for clients and resolve accounting matters.
  • Liaise with auditors/regulators and outsourced accounting firms.
  • Review and revise client service fees annually.
  • Ensure SOP compliance and regulatory updates.
  • Provide tax advice related to structures and double tax treaties.
  • Undertake and oversee other ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking Certified Accountant who is motivated and dynamic individual to join our team and the successful candidate will take charge of all aspects of financial accounting, statutory reporting, tax reporting and administrative matters for a portfolio of clients as well as handle private trustees’ work. You will be responsible for leading the team and delivering quality service to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage an allocated portfolio of clients to provide high quality and professional services and maintain excellent relationships with clients;
  • Prepare interim/full reports (including consolidation) in according withapplicable accounting standards (IFRS/ Singapore Tax Regulations) for adedicated client’s portfolio;
  • Prepare management accounts for Singapore, Hong Kong and offshore jurisdictions(BVI, Seychelles, Belize, etc);
  • Preparation of financial statements (Unaudited) and XBRL reports;
  • Prepare/Review Management Accounts, customized reporting packages, Statutory Accounts, GST returns, monthly payroll, CPF Submissions and other expense disbursements, as well as year-end remuneration returns;
  • Review work produced by other team members, monitoring and training staff;
  • Lead and manage an engagement effectively and efficiently, with minimum supervision;
  • Assist the leadership team in providing comprehensive and effective tax compliance and advisory services to a portfolio of corporate clients in a diverse range of industries;
  • Prepare tax computations;
  • Prepare income tax compliance work and basic tax advisory for portfolio of clients including individuals and SMEs;
  • Handle tax reviews, tax audits, tax planning and group restructuring and inquiries;
  • Be first point of contact for clients and resolve all accounting matters independently;
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, outsourced accounting firm for answering queries on behalf of clients;
  • Review and revise client service fee on an annual basis;
  • Ensure compliance to SOPs and regulatory updates;
  • Provide tax advice in relation to VCC/13O/13U structures and Singapore double tax treaty structures;
  • Undertake and oversee other ad-hoc projects or duties as may be required from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Strong and extensive experience in doing Consolidation using Excel and preparing year-end draft statutory financial statements with notes to the accounts;
  • Positive attitude, hardworking and able to work independently;
  • Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to staff;
  • Working knowledge of IFRS, Statement of Audit Standards and Professional Practices Framework of the IIA is an advantage;
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel essential) and good knowledge of Word, Accounting and Payroll Software;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
