Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor motor car claim evaluation and approval.
• Verify, analyze, and investigate whether claims are covered by the policy.
• Ensure timely processing of claims within the company's turnaround time (TAT).
• Develop action plans to improve the evaluation process.
• Collaborate with adjusters and processors to minimize fraudulent claims.
• Prepare recommendations to ensure fair settlements is rendered.
• Review final reports of independent adjusters and supervise staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Motor Claims Supervisor oversees a team responsible for the evaluation and settlementof motor insurance claims. This role ensures that claims are handled professionally, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and service standards. The supervisor must be able to determine whether a claim is covered by the insurance policy and assess the compensability of the claim.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervising and monitoring motor car claim evaluation and approval.
• Verify, analyze, and investigate whether claims are covered by the policy.
• Ensure that all claims for evaluation are attended to within the specified turnaround time (TAT) set forth by the company.
• Develop specific action plans to improve and enhance the evaluation process.
• Collaborate with adjusters and processors to minimize and prevent fraudulent claims.
• Prepare and submit necessary recommendations to ensure a fair settlement is rendered.
• Prepare letters for the claims committee regarding total loss and carnap claims.
• Perform post-audit on claims and monitor outstanding losses.
• Supervise, motivate, train, and develop claim processors to maximize their potential.
• Review final reports of independent adjusters.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• A graduate of any four-year course, preferably with experience in motor claims handling and the automotive industry.
• Has basic knowledge of non-life insurance.
• Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Can communicate effectively in both Tagalog and English, with good communication skills.
