Job summary

The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager, Digital Communications to manage claims-related enquiries via digital channels with accuracy and empathy. The role coordinates with Claims Operations to deliver timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in insurance operations, claims servicing, and customer service, with knowledge of MAS guidelines and PDPA. Diploma or degree required; professional certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree qualification.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in insurance operations, claims servicing and customer service.
• Professional Certification in Insurance (i.e. M9, M5, CHI, BCP, PGI) will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure claims-related enquiries, appeals, complaints and escalations are managed accurately and professionally.
• Act as primary contact for claims-related communication with customers and financial representatives.
• Coordinate with Claims Operations and other business units to resolve inquiries.
• Provide guidance on claims processes, requirements and claim outcomes.
• Escalate cases requiring technical claims assessment to the Claims teams.
• Support onboarding, training and knowledge-sharing activities.
