Job summary

The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited is seeking a Compliance and Risk Operations professional to join Group Operations. You will oversee risk assessment, regulatory trawling, and reporting to support governance and timely remediation of findings.

Responsibilities include conducting quality reviews, managing service provider engagements, and preparing divisional performance insights to aid management decisions. Strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Insurance or Business, or equivalent qualifications.
• At least 5 years in operations, audit, or compliance and risk management in insurance.
• Strong ownership, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Meticulous with good analytical skills.
• Independent worker with a sense of urgency, but a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal, external and regulatory trawling requests and prepare/submission of accurate reports.
• Support compliance reviews and ensure findings are remediated.
• Conduct quality reviews and monitoring across transactions to ensure policy adherence.
• Oversee service provider engagements with focus on risk assessment, procurement and legal requirements.
• Lead remediation efforts to keep customer records accurate and timely.
• Review and support divisional performance reports with relevant analysis for decision-making.
• Provide support to the Division and handle ad-hoc assignments from the Supervisor.
• Demonstrate risk awareness in business decisions and protect company reputation.
