Job summary

Intro Recruitment Asia is seeking an experienced Technical Director – Civil to lead the Civil Design Team and provide technical leadership across complex civil engineering projects supporting the Australian market.

You will oversee delivery, review designs, lead multidisciplinary coordination, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety requirements while building strong client relationships and contributing to proposals and business development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
Professional engineering registration/chartership is required.
15+ years of Civil Engineering experience with leadership of large teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the Civil Design Team and oversee technical delivery across projects.
Review and ensure quality of civil designs, drawings and deliverables.
Lead multidisciplinary coordination and manage engineering/BIM resources.
Provide technical direction on medium to large-scale projects.
Support project planning, scope, risk, resource and commercial management.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and Australian stakeholders.
Contribute to proposals, business development and project pursuits.
Mentor and develop engineers while driving technical excellence.
Ensure compliance with legislation, Australian standards, and safety requirements.
