Job summary

Greenmark Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee civil and structural works in Santo Niño 1st, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. You will supervise contractor activities, inspect works, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs and method statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a RTO.
• Proficiency in project management and construction supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil and structural works carried out by the contractor.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Monitor drainage works such as roadside drains, concrete drains, drain connections, culverts and related drainage works.
• Check setting-out, levels, alignment, gradients and dimensions of drainage works.
• Monitor excavation, earthworks, formwork, reinforcement, concreting and backfilling.
• Ensure proper connection of new drains to existing drainage systems and monitor tie-in works.
• Inspect existing roadside drains and report any defects, damage or site constraints.
• Coordinate with the contractor on temporary drainage, diversion and water-flow to prevent flooding.
• Check materials delivered to site for compliance with approvals and specs.
• Witness and record site inspections, testing and quality-control activities.
• Identify and report non-conforming works, defects and safety concerns to RE/consultant.
• Maintain daily site records, inspection records, site photographs and progress updates.
• Monitor progress and highlight delays and potential programme impacts.
• Coordinate with RE, contractor and other parties regarding site works and interfaces.
• Ensure works are carried out with minimum disruption to residents, pedestrians, road users and existing services.
• Assist RE in measurement, progress verification and preparation of site records for completed works.
• Verify completed works before recommending them for inspection, testing and acceptance.
• Assist in checking as-built information and records upon completion.
• Carry out any other site supervision duties assigned by RE/consultant.
