Job summary

GMC in Cebu seeks a Service Engineer (CED – Civil) to drive civil projects from planning through completion. You’ll monitor job orders, coordinate with in‑house and third‑party contractors, ensure safety, timely delivery, and maintain clear status reports.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Civil Engineer with a BS CE, strong project maintenance experience, cost estimation skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD or ZWCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• Registered Civil Engineer (RCE) is required.
• Experience in project maintenance and civil works.
• Ability to prepare cost estimates.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or ZWCAD.
• Ability to lead and supervise with third-party contractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Job Orders (JOs) from implementation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain project schedules by monitoring JO progress and coordinating with in-house and third-party contractors.
• Address project concerns and resolve issues that may affect timelines, quality, or completion.
• Prepare and maintain pending and completed JO reports with clear status updates.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment by enforcing procedures and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure work meets project requirements and standards.
