Job summary

SUMEC PHILIPPINES is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with QA/QC experience for on-site oversight of large civil works related to solar/wind power and substations. The role emphasizes strict quality enforcement, field surveillance, and coordination with multi-disciplinary site contractors to ensure compliance with QCP/ITP/MS.

The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering degree, a PRC license is preferred, and 2+ years of relevant experience with strong reporting and hands-on testing

Qualifications

• Licensed / Registered Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred.
• 2+ years of QA/QC experience in civil works for large infra projects.
• Strong reporting, analytical, and field surveillance capabilities.
• Assertive quality enforcement and coordination with site contractors.
• Hands-on proficiency with testing equipment (megger testers, insulation meters, torque wrenches, multimeters).
• Deep knowledge of QCP, ITP, and MS.
• Problem-solving mindset to resolve discrepancies on-site.

• Strong technical reporting, analytical, and field surveillance capabilities.

• Assertive quality enforcement and effective coordination with multi-disciplinary site civil contractors.

• Hands-on proficiency using testing equipment (megger testers, insulation resistance meters, torque wrenches, multimeter devices).

• Deep knowledge of Quality Control Plans (QCP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements (MS).

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve technical discrepancies constructively on-site.
