Job summary

SUMEC PHILIPPINES is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 2+ years of site construction experience in power, substations, or EPC facilities. You will apply PEC/NEC knowledge to ensure safe, compliant electrical work and lead coordination between civil teams, OEMs, inspectors, and subcontractors. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel is preferred.

You will interpret diagrams, prepare technical reports, and help drive project milestones with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of progressive electrical site construction experience in power, substation, or industrial EPC facilities.
• Solid knowledge of PEC, NEC and international standards.
• Strong analytical, report-writing and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Assertive leadership and clear technical communication for contractor compliance.
• Experience interpreting single-line diagrams, schematic control diagrams, AutoCAD layouts, and cable schedules in Excel.
• Ability to coordinate across civil teams, OEMs, inspectors, and subcontractor crews.

• Solid working knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), National Electrical Code (NEC), and international standards

• Strong analytical, report-writing, and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.

• Assertive leadership and effective technical communication for managing contractor electrical compliance.

• Proficient in interpreting electrical single-line diagrams, schematic control diagrams, AutoCAD layouts, and cable schedules in MS Excel.

• Collaborative communication skills to coordinate between civil teams, equipment OEMs, client inspectors, and electrical subcontractor crews.
