Job summary

Panico Construction & Development Corporation is seeking a Civil Engineer / Quantity Estimator to support our construction projects with accurate quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and preparation of technical documents.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, proficiency in AutoCAD, and the ability to read diverse plans. Ideal candidates will have experience in takeoffs, estimating, BOQ preparation, and strong attention to detail. Based in or willing to work in San Fernando, Cebu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PRC License is an advantage but not required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering software.
• Experience in quantity takeoff, estimating, and BOQ preparation.
• Able to read civil, structural, and architectural plans.
• Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Organized, analytical, and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Based in or willing to work in San Fernando, Cebu.
• Willing to work in a construction environment and coordinate with sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for construction projects.

• Prepare BOQs, material estimates, and cost breakdowns.
• Prepare and review shop drawings and construction drawings.
• Use AutoCAD and other software for quantity takeoff and project prep.
• Coordinate with project engineers, suppliers, and other personnel.
• Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and bid documents.
• Monitor material requirements and ensure accuracy of estimates.
• Perform other engineering and estimating duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for construction projects

• Review plans, specifications, and other technical documents

• Prepare BOQs, material estimates, and cost breakdowns

• Prepare and review shop drawings and construction drawings

• Use AutoCAD and other engineering software for quantity takeoff and project preparation

• Coordinate with project engineers, suppliers, and other project personnel

• Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and bid documents

• Monitor material requirements and help ensure accuracy of project estimates

• Perform other engineering and estimating duties as assigned
