Job summary

GEDI CONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its engineering team in Lanao Del Norte. The role involves supporting technical and project management tasks, site surveys, and coordinating with clients and vendors to advance renewable and power-related projects.

You will assist in developing plans, ensuring QA/QC standards, and maintaining documentation while staying on site as required. A civil engineering license and 3–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional license (Civil) is required.
• 3–5 years of work experience in related field is preferred.
• Knowledge in Power and Energy industry.
• Experience in Renewable, Solar Power Plant, Power Plant, Telecommunications, Power Grid is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills and teamwork spirit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Engineering to conduct technical management and project management for the company and projects.
• Assist Market Development Department with project development including site surveys, project planning, diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Establish relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and expand networks.
• Support ongoing projects; resolve technical problems; conduct site inspections; develop, review, and update civil/electrical design plans and schedules.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining the quality management system.
• Coordinate project procurement and inbound/outbound of equipment and materials.
• Develop and approve the project quality management plan.
• Carry out site quality inspections and prepare improvement reports.
• Plan, develop, and test components, equipment, and systems for safety and reliability.
• Knowledge of QA/QC.
• Manage documents related to the assigned work.
• Accomplish other tasks assigned by the Director.
• Willing to work and stay at project site in Lanao Del Norte

4. At least 3-5 years work experience in Renewable, Solar Power Plant, Power Plant, Telecommunications, Power Grid, etc. is an advantage.

5. Professional license (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Civil).

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist Director of Engineering Department to conduct the relevant technical management and project management of the company and projects.

2. Assist Market Development Department to do project development, such as conduct site survey, prepare project plan. Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment.

3. Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, other professionals, and expanding networks.

4. Provide support to the ongoing projects, assist to solve project technical problem, conduct site inspection, developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving civil/electrical design plans and work schedules.

5. Assist Director of the Engineering Department to accomplish the establishment and maintenance of the quality management system.

6. Cooperate with each project to accomplish the project procurement process, and assist the project to manage Inbound & Outbound of equipment and materials

7. Cooperate with each project to accomplish the formulation and approval of the project quality management plan

8. Carry out the project site quality inspection as needed, accomplish the quality inspection report and improvement report.

9. Plan, develop, and test components, equipment, and systems to ensure they’re safe, reliable, and comply with requirements.

11. Manage the documents related to the assigned work.
