Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Civil/Electrical) or equivalent.
• Professional electrical engineer with valid license/registration.
• English language proficiency (written and spoken).
• Preference for experience in power transmission projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for detailed design of the project.
• Prepare cost estimates during preparation of future projects.
• Check quantity and cost variations and assist the Project Manager.
• Maintain project phases and resolve cost problems.
• Review and analyze weekly and monthly reports.
• Coordinate with NGCP, vendors, suppliers, contractors and architects.
• Perform site visits to check progress.
• Attend team meetings to resolve issues.
• Review calculations, estimates, plans and reports for accuracy.
• Ensure work conforms to drawings and specs.
• Regularly update overall project cost estimates.

Job description

The Cost Engineer is the main position to assist the construction Manager in Project management, planning, coordinating, schedule all site activities about electricity, Supervise and monitoring project progress, to liaise effectively with consultants, client authorities & contractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates of the detailed design of the project
• Prepare cost estimates during the preparation of the future projects
• Check quantity and cost variations of the works and assist the Project Manager
• Maintain the different phases of the project and evaluate all the cost problems and resolve them.
• Review and analysis of weekly and monthly report.
• Coordinate with NGCP, vendors, suppliers, contractors and architects and other colleagues.
• Do site visits to check on progress.
• Engage in team meetings to resolve project issues.
• Review the accuracy of calculations, estimates, plans and completed reports.
• Ensure that the work was carried in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
• Regular update of overall project cost estimates by completion.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical) or equivalent.
• Candidate must possess a professional electrical engineer with a valid certificate of registration and a valid professional license.
• Healthy, no major illnesses and diseases.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Required language(s):English
• Good command in writtenand spokenEnglish
• Preference will be given to the candidate with working experience in power transmission line project.
• Required Skill(s): Knowledge/experience in AUTOCAD and SHOP DRAWING is an advantage.
• Your work location will be mainly based anywhere in the Philippines and may transfer to other location depending on projects, you are required to travel when necessary.
