Job summary

DAZZLING LITE ENTERPRISES in Makati seeks a Civil Engineer / Cost Estimator to design civil aspects for energy efficiency and infrastructure projects, including site works and drainage.

You will review requirements, develop concepts, perform basic calculations, prepare cost estimates and bills of quantities, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards. On-site inspections are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in infrastructure or building projects.
• Knowledge of drainage design and stormwater standards.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specs; CAD familiarity is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication; meticulous and collaborative.

Role Description

The Civil Engineer / Cost Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Makati. The role involves preparing civil engineering designs and layouts for energy efficiency and infrastructure projects, including site works, drainage, and structural components related to ESCO and audit findings. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project requirements, developing design concepts, performing basic calculations, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with technical and regulatory standards. The position is also responsible for preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and budget proposals, evaluating material and labor requirements, and updating cost data throughout the project life cycle. The Civil Engineer / Cost Estimator will support the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and documentation, participate in site visits and inspections, and contribute to project planning and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Strong civil engineering foundations, including Civil Engineering Design and general Civil Engineering knowledge and cost estimates
• Experience working as or with Civil Engineers on infrastructure or building-related projects.
• Skills in Planning, including project planning, scheduling, and coordination of civil works.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related local standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and preparation of bills of quantities for civil works.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional licensure or eligibility is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications; familiarity with common design and CAD software is beneficial.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder coordination.
• Willingness to work on-site in Makati and conduct field inspections as required.
