Job summary

KMC Solutions is seeking a CIVIL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER/DESIGNER in the Philippines to execute moderate design tasks with guidance from a civil structural lead. You will perform 2D and 3D modeling, drawing generation and vendor drawing reviews, while maintaining dimensional accuracy and coordinating with project teams.

You should have 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D software, and familiarity with Autodesk Recap and Scan data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of industry experience with design.
• Experience in structural drafting for building structures and steel structures.
• Ability to read and modify standard deliverables.
• Experience designing to support piping, equipment and foundations with minimal assistance.
• Proficient with current releases of AutoCAD.
• Proficient with 3D software, and 3D modeling.
• Proficient with Autodesk Recap software and Scan data.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel software.

Responsibilities

• Design (with minimal assistance).

• Review and markup equipment vendor drawings.
• Dimensional and consistency checks on all deliverables.
• Fieldwork (gather information and hand sketches).

Designers at this level work with limited guidance from a civil structural lead to execute the duties and responsibilities listed below using the appropriate tools and established procedures. The main responsibilities of a CIVIL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER/DESIGNER include:

• Design (with minimal assistance)
• 2D and 3D Modeling.
• Drawing generation, markup and cleanup.
• Review and markup equipment vendor drawings.
• Dimensional and consistency checks on all deliverables.
• Fieldwork (gather information and hand sketches)
• Data input for lists. (Drawing Index, bill of material…)
• Attends model reviews and project meetings.
• General office work such as making copies, attending meetings etc.

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

• Experience within Oil & Gas industry is preferred
• Experience with fieldwork, site measurements, and scan data is a plus, but not mandatory
