Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience with PCO/BOSH/COSH/SO1/SO2 or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduation in civil/structural engineering, preferably in property development.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting site assessments and feasibility studies to inform the design and development of buildings, infrastructure, and other property-related projects
• Preparing detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
• Collaborating with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and local authorities, to ensure the successful completion of projects
• Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving technical issues, and implementing quality control measures
• Providing technical advice and support
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-conformances
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and prepare necessary safety documentation and reports

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Experience in PCO, BOSH, COSH, SO1, SO2 or equivalent certification
• At least 5 years of post-graduation experience in civil/structural engineering, preferably within the property development sector
• Proficiency in the use of engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide practical, cost-effective solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring high-quality work
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to project sites as required
