Job summary

BMD Group, Australia’s leading civil contractor, seeks a detail-oriented Civil Drafter to join our Parañaque, Metro Manila office on a full-time on-site basis to support high-quality drafting for Australian infrastructure projects.

We value strong CAD drafting skills and experience producing drawings, BOQs and schedules. A Civil Engineering degree and professional registration are highly regarded; work in a collaborative, international team environment is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Proficient CAD drafting for civil projects.
• Experience producing drawings, schedules of quantities, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings for residential land developments, roads/highways, water and sewer infrastructure, and other civil projects.
• Produce engineering drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
• Assist civil designers with design deliverables and BOQs.
• Develop As Constructed drawings from site sketches.
• Maintain drafting standards and libraries; coordinate with consultants and stakeholders.

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Drafter to join our growing team, based full‑time on site in our Parañaque, Metro Manila office to support the preparation of high-quality civil and structural drafting documentation for Australian infrastructure projects.

This role is ideal for someone with strong CAD drafting skills who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment and contributing to the successful delivery of engineering projects.

Who We’re Looking For

• Prepare accurate CAD drawings for:
  • Residential land developments
  • Roads and highways
  • Water and sewer infrastructure
  • Other civil infrastructure projects
• Produce engineering drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
• Assist civil designers with engineering design deliverables.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for civil engineering projects.
• Produce, print, and compile drawings, reports, schedules, and project documentation.
• Develop "As Constructed" drawings from site sketch information.
• Coordinate with external consultants and stakeholders as required.
• Maintain drafting standards and ensure all work complies with company processes and quality requirements.
• Maintain and update drafting libraries and documentation systems.
• Complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and within project timeframes.
• Respond to and coordinate with external consultants and clients and internal design office staff in Australia in a professional, timely and friendly manner
• Participate in business operations discussions

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need

• A Degree in Civil Engineering and registration as a professional civil engineer will be highly regarded
• Ability to show initiative and take action which positively impacts the business
• Experience working in a collaborative and professional team environment effectively (an international team environment will be highly regarded)
• Experience producing effective and efficient engineering drawings, schedules of quantities, reports and other required documentation in a CAD environment
