Job summary

Share Pro Inc. seeks a Design Engineer – Civil to provide CAD drafting and design for civil engineering works.

You will coordinate with external consultants and suppliers for quotations and queries, and manage printing, filing and issuing plans and documents for permits, bidding and construction. The ideal candidate is a licensed Civil Engineering graduate with at least 1 year of hospitality project experience, strong ability to read drawings, and proficiency in AutoCAD (ACAD), Civil 3D and MS

OFFICE LOCATION: Filinvest EDSA, Mandaluyong

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Project Based for 12 Months

JOB SUMMARY:

The Design Engineer – Civil is responsible for providing computer-aided drafting and design work for Civil Engineering Works. Coordination with external consultants and suppliers for quotations and queries. Internal coordination with printing, filing and issuing of plans and documents.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design Drafting and Plan Preparation

• Civil CADD Drafting, using ACAD software, of conceptual and detailed plans.

• Printing and photocopying of plans and documents for PERMITS, BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION.

• Material and quantity take-off

• Ask for quotations for civil engineering design, consultancies and pre-engineering studies.

• Follow-up for plans and reminding the target schedule of submission.

• Do a checklist evaluation on submitted plans and documents for completeness and per scope of consultancy services for permit application, bidding and construction.

Suppliers Quotation and Discussions

• Query to suppliers for the latest material and commonly used material for quotation.

• Organize meetings and discussions with supplier on material criteria and strength.

Technical Support/ Corporate and Administrative Works

• Coordinate with external consultant on site requirements and actual site conditions during construction.

• For In-house design, coordinate with technical superiors on solutions to site queries and prepare shop drawings and estimates.

• Departmental meetings and activities, (Attendance to departmental meeting and activities.) Continuing Education/Seminar/Training (Presentation of Certificate of Attendance), Clerical or administrative report.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a licensed Civil Engineering graduate, preferably with at least 1 year of experience in hospitality projects.

• Must have experience in bidding and quantity surveying.

• Well versed in reading and interpreting civil drawings and survey plans.

• Computer Literate with Knowledge in ACAD and office programs.

• Excellent communication skill (English Proficiency).

• Knowledge in operating Civil3d CAD software for Land Development Design and using Microsoft Office software is an advantage.
