Job summary

220 Taps n' Tiles, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to design and supervise infrastructure projects on-site in Quezon City. The role requires 2–3 years of professional experience, a civil engineering degree, and CAD proficiency.

You will collaborate with architects and contractors to meet project objectives, ensure safety, and maintain thorough documentation. The ideal candidate will have a PE license or be willing to obtain one, strong knowledge of building codes, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Professional Engineering license (PE) or equivalent qualification in the Philippines or willingness to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in civil engineering design, site management or construction supervision.
• Strong proficiency with CAD software and other civil engineering design tools.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety standards and regulatory requirements applicable in the Philippines.
• Excellent technical drawing and design skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and propose practical engineering solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure, commercial, or industrial projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering solutions for infrastructure projects, including structural systems, site plans and construction methodologies.
• Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation using CAD software and other industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and timelines are adhered to.
• Monitor construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes and safety regulations.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections throughout the construction phases.
• Analyse project data and prepare reports on engineering findings, project progress and recommendations for improvement.
• Contribute to cost estimation and project budgeting in liaison with project management teams.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all records comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Other tasks assigned by immediate head, management, or member of the management.
