Angkas is seeking a City Lead to supervise operations in General Santos City, Philippines. You will oversee departmental functions, staffing, and adherence to local standards, while driving performance and process improvements.

The role offers flexibility to work onsite, remotely, or in a hybrid setup, with opportunities to lead a growing network of biker-partners and ensure safe, reliable transportation services for the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in transportation or logistics.
• Proficiency in transportation management software, GPS tracking systems, and data analysis tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee local operations with respect to departmental functions, administration, and workforce supervision.
• Achieve local performance targets.
• Enhance operational procedures and business processes according to local standards.
• Serve as a company representative for regulatory and local government requirements.
• Interviewing, selection, and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance discussions and corrective action plans; motivation and rewards.
• Adhere to company policy and procedures.
• Achieve or exceed targets and other key objectives assigned by your Immediate Supervisor.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Accept other associated responsibilities and projects as needed.
