Job summary

PERSOL, a leading engineering solutions provider in the Philippines, invites a Service Engineer to join our field-based team. You will ensure optimal performance of chiller systems, perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and deliver superior client support across multiple sites.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s in engineering, 3–5 years in HVAC/chiller care, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in chiller maintenance or related HVAC roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of chiller systems and HVAC principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Completion of Building Construction Supervisors Safety Courses.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems for optimal efficiency.
• Provide exceptional service by addressing client inquiries related to chiller operations.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Educate clients on best practices for operation and maintenance of chiller systems.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports outlining service activities and recommendations.
• Execute commissioning processes for new chiller installations to ensure correct functioning.
• Collaborate with agents, customers, and contractors to verify system performance.
• Foster teamwork and shared problem-solving with contractors.
• Adhere to safety protocols and conduct safety briefings for all parties involved.
• Field-based role requiring travel to client sites for service tasks and breakdown responses.
