Job summary

Singlife Philippines is seeking a Head of Risk to lead the design, implementation and ongoing refinement of our risk management framework. This senior appointment provides independent risk advice, challenges strategic decisions, and ensures compliance with local and global insurance regulations.

You will build enterprise risk management, oversee RBC2 capital planning and stress testing with Actuarial and Finance, and manage risks across investment, insurance, operations and conduct.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in risk, actuarial, finance or compliance in Philippine insurance or bank.
• 5+ years in a senior risk leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IC regulatory regime, RBC2, and PFRS17.
• Experience setting up or rebuilding a risk function during growth/transformation.
• Familiar with market conduct and consumer protection rules for bancassurance.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the enterprise risk management framework and risk appetite.
• Own RBC2 capital planning and stress testing with Actuarial and Finance.
• Oversee investment and market risk, insurance risk, operational risk, conduct and model risk.
• Manage agents and bancassurance conduct risk, AML and fraud controls.
• Engage the IC and Board risk committee and coordinate with compliance.
• Build risk strategies for cyber, third-party, outsourcing, crisis management and disaster recovery.
• Elevate risk culture and awareness across functions.
