Job summary

Maxicare Health Care is seeking a Chief Radiologic Technologist to lead the imaging department, elevating standards, safety, and patient care. You will guide a team of radiologic technologists, ensure accurate diagnostics, and oversee operations across X-ray, CT, and MRI services.

This role rewards initiative and discipline, even if this is your first formal leadership title. You will mentor staff, optimize workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with clinicians to deliver

Qualifications

• BS in Radiologic Technology with valid PRC license.
• 2–5 years of radiology/imaging experience.
• Evidence of informal leadership such as mentoring, training juniors, or acting as reliever.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the radiology team to deliver accurate, patient-centered imaging services.
• Oversee daily imaging operations ensuring smooth workflow and patient experience.
• Ensure radiation safety compliance and act as Safety Officer.
• Mentor technologists, fostering accountability and professional growth.
• Identify workflow gaps and implement efficiency improvements.
• Make proactive operational decisions in fast-paced settings.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Collaborate with doctors and clinic leaders for seamless care.
• Maintain readiness and utilization of imaging equipment.

What You’ll Do:

You will serve as the clinical and operational leader of the imaging department, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across all services:

• Lead and guide the radiology team in delivering accurate, timely, and patient-centered diagnostic services
• Oversee daily imaging operations to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient experience
• Ensure strict compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements (serve as Safety Officer)
• Mentor and develop technologists — building a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence
• Identify workflow gaps and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
• Handle operational challenges proactively and make sound decisions in fast-paced situations
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with doctors, clinic leaders, and cross-functional teams for seamless patient care
• Ensure proper utilization, maintenance, and readiness of imaging equipment

Qualifications

Education:

• BS in Radiologic Technology
• With valid PRC License

Experience / Background We’re Targeting:

• Radiologic Technologists with strong clinical experience (X-ray, CT, MRI, etc.)
• Those with informal leadership exposure (training juniors, reliever roles, workflow coordination)
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus — but not required

You are a great fit if you have:

• At least 2–5 years of experience in a radiology/imaging setting
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to diagnostic quality and patient safety
• Confidence in decision-making and handling day-to-day operational issues
• Experience mentoring or guiding colleagues (formal or informal)
• Ability to balance patient care, team leadership, and operational priorities
• A mindset focused on “improve, standardize, and elevate”
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer proficiency and ability to manage documentation and reports
