Scorpio is seeking a Chief Officer to oversee navigation, cargo operations, deck crew management, maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance aboard our vessel in Manila. The role emphasizes environmental protection, operational efficiency, and high safety standards for crew and cargo handling.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate leadership in diverse sea conditions, expert knowledge of SOLAS and MARPOL, and the ability to mentor officers while achieving commercial objectives within safety

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of SOLAS, MARPOL and flag state regulations.
• Proficiency in bridge operations and navigation.
• Experience leading deck crew and cargo/ballast operations.
• Mentoring and developing officers and crew.

Responsibilities

• Oversee navigational responsibilities and safe vessel operations.
• Manage cargo operations and ballast handling.
