Job summary

David Kennedy Recruitment Ltd. seeks a Chief of People to own the People function in the Philippines, aligning with the CEO and executive team to support growth, transformation and scalable workforce planning.

The role leads the HR/People function, drives organisational design, and ensures competitive compensation, benefits and HR operations while maintaining compliance with Philippine laws and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Senior HR leadership experience in a large-scale service environment.
• Experience in BPO or outsourcing, or contact centre settings.
• Proven ability to manage attrition, engagement and retention at scale.
• Strong knowledge of the Philippines employment market and labour environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to link People strategy to business performance.

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a high-growth BPO and outsourcing company that is seeking to onboard a Chief of People to join their team in Manila. The successful candidate owns the People function in the Philippines and partners with executive and operational leadership to support continued growth, organisational development and workforce scaling.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the overall People and HR strategy for the Philippines operation
• Partner closely with the CEO, senior leadership and Operations teams
• Lead and develop the wider HR / People function
• Drive organisational design and workforce planning as the company scales
• Oversee performance management, employee relations and HR operations
• Ensure compensation, benefits and reward structures remain competitive
• Build scalable People processes while maintaining an agile working environment
• Use People data and workforce analytics to identify risks and support business decisions
• Support major client ramps, organisational change and rapid headcount growth
• Ensure compliance with Philippines employment legislation and HR practices

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Significant senior HR / People leadership experience
• Strong experience within BPO, outsourcing, contact centre or another large-scale service environment
• Proven experience supporting organisations through rapid growth and transformation
• Strong understanding of the Philippines employment market and labour environment
• Experience managing attrition, engagement and employee retention across sizeable operational populations
• Proven experience leading sizeable HR / People teams
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to connect People strategy with operational and business performance
