The Chief Medical Technologist, Pathology & Laboratories is responsible for the technical functions of the laboratory, focusing on patient safety and service quality. He/She keeps the laboratory procedures updated with current and state-of-the-art technology.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Assists the Head, Pathology & Laboratories, Operations Manager, and Operations Cluster Head in mission vision of the department as well as implementing the business guidelines of the department and hospital.

• Reviews policies & procedures with team, monitors implementation of safety and quality-related initiatives of the department as well as department's compliance with quality standards set by the hospital and local laws and regulations

Qualifications:

Licensed Medical Technologist, preferably with Masteral Degree

With at least seven (7) years of experience as practicing Medical Technologists in a tertiary hospital, inclusive of at least five (5) years in a managerial capacity
