Job summary

Clinica Antipolo Hospital & Wellness Center Inc. is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform routine laboratory analyses and ensure accurate testing to support patient care in Antipolo, Rizal.

You will conduct chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests, obtain specimens, observe reactions, and document findings for review by pathologists and supervisors. A valid MT license and at least one year of clinical lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Certified and licensed Medical Technologist.
• At least one year of practical work experience in a clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Performs various chemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests according to laboratory policies to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease
• Obtains laboratory specimens, such as urine, blood and sputum, from wards or directly from patient, using established laboratory techniques
• Observes reactions, changes of color, or formation of precipitates; studies slides using microscope; or subjects treated specimens to automatic analyzing equipment to make qualitative and quantitative analyses
• Posts all test findings to laboratory slips for study by pathologist or other laboratory supervisor
• Identifies and labels all specimens to be retained and files them for further reference or research
• Performs other duties that may be assigned to or required of the job

About the role

The Medical Technologist is primarily responsible for conducting routine laboratory analyses and performing routine laboratory practices and tasks required in the conduct of tests and orderly operation of the Laboratory.
