Job summary

MGallery Hotel Collection in Metro Manila is seeking a Chief Engineer to ensure the efficient operation of the hotel property and its equipment, oversee maintenance and repair services, and protect the Owner's asset.

You will collaborate with the Design and Construction team and outside contractors on renovations, supervise interior and exterior maintenance of buildings and rooms, and train staff on safety and compliance with local laws.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel property and all its equipment, ancillary maintenance and repair services and protection of the Owner's asset.
• Work with Design and Construction team, engineers, and/or outside architects regarding renovations and other such projects; contact contractors for bids and meet with appropriate construction supervisors.
• Educate/train team members on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all local laws and safety regulations.
• Supervise the Maintenance and of repair the interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contents
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management.

Job Description

Responsible in ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel property and all its equipment, ancillary maintenance and repair services and protection of the Owner's asset. Structural aspects of the hotel as well as the maintenance of grounds and external facilities fall within the span of responsibility of the Chief Engineer.

Work with Design and Construction team, engineers, and/or outside architects regarding renovations and other such projects; contact contractors for bids and meet with appropriate construction supervisors.

Educate/train team members on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all local laws and safety regulations.

Supervise the Maintenance and of repair the interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contents

Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management.
