Job summary

HEAD SPORT PHILIPPINES, INC. seeks a Chief Engineer / Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead the Engineering and Maintenance Department and ensure the reliability, safety, and continuous operation of all plant equipment and facilities.

The role provides technical leadership in preventive and corrective maintenance, projects, and utilities management. The incumbent will oversee a team of engineers and technicians, drive RCA investigations, manage upgrades, monitor costs, and ensure compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Engineering and Maintenance team
• Develop and monitor Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Programs
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and reliability of production equipment and machinery
• Oversee plant utilities, electrical systems, facilities, and other engineering systems
• Troubleshoot major equipment breakdowns and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions
• Manage equipment installation, upgrades, modification, and engineering improvement projects
• Monitor maintenance costs, spare parts, equipment downtime, and department KPIs
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operations
• Supervise, train, and develop engineers, technicians, mechanics, and other maintenance personnel

About the role

The Chief Engineer / Engineering & Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Engineering and Maintenance Department to ensure the reliability, safety, efficiency, and continuous operation of all production equipment, machinery, utilities, facilities, and engineering systems of the plant. The position provides technical leadership in preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment improvement, engineering projects, utilities management, troubleshooting, and facility maintenance, while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities
