Job summary

Sun Life Financial in Taguig seeks a Chief Actuary to lead actuarial operations across valuation, product pricing, assumptions validation and capital management. You will drive regulatory reporting, dividend setting and financial projections while mentoring a high-performing actuarial team.

Ideal candidates hold a math/statistics degree, are a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines, and bring extensive leadership experience in insurance.

Qualifications

• College degree in Mathematics or Statistics.
• A fellow of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines.
• Prerequisite management training or at least five (5) years of experience managing people.

Responsibilities

• Strategic: Develops strategic direction for actuarial operations.
• Functional/ Business: Ensures efficient execution of actuarial functions. Supports business objectives and KPIs.
• Governance/Oversight/ Risk Management: Ensure robust Actuarial Control Environment.
• Talent Development: Support development of the team with focus on growth, wellness and engagement.
