Mövenpick Resort Boracay is seeking a Chief Accountant to lead the accounting function, overseeing all close processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role requires strategic oversight of accounting operations, team leadership, and direct accountability to the Finance Manager.

The successful candidate will have CPA qualifications (preferred), at least five years in senior accounting roles, and experience with Opera, Sun System and Future Log, preferably in luxury hotel settings.

• Review and approve all journal vouchers for month-end closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage G/L accounting functions and conduct monthly reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager on budget development, forecast analysis, and preparation of monthly financial reports for corporate submission.
• Mentor and supervise accounting staff, fostering professional development and maintaining high standards of financial accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures across all financial operations.
