Job summary

Mövenpick Resort Boracay is seeking a Chief Accountant to lead the accounting function, oversee all close processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role requires strategic oversight of accounting operations, team leadership, and direct reporting to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include month-end closing, journal voucher approvals, reconciliations, budgeting collaboration, and staff mentorship, with a focus on maintaining high standards of financial accuracy.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred and 5+ years in accounting roles.
• Experience with luxury hotel/resort operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closing and supervise accounting team.
• Review and approve all journal vouchers for accuracy.
• Manage G/L accounting functions and monthly reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Finance Manager on budgets and monthly reports.
• Mentor accounting staff and ensure policy compliance.
