Job summary

Innodata Inc. is seeking highly qualified Subject Matter Experts in Organic and Materials Chemistry for a fully remote, project-based, full-time engagement.

You will perform quality assurance, terminology development, and expert discussions to enhance the accuracy and value of chemistry- and materials-related content delivered to users. Candidates with advanced degrees and experience in chemical research literature are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry or closely related discipline.
• Specialization in Organic Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Metallic Materials, Energy Materials, or Chemical/Materials Engineering.
• Experience using chemical research databases such as Reaxys or SciFinder.
• Strong understanding of chemical research methodologies and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA reviews of scientific and technical content.
• Validate scientific accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Conduct factchecking and identify errors or gaps.
• Contribute to development and standardization of scientific terminology.
• Participate in subject matter discussions and provide expert insights on chemistry- and materials-related topics.
• Review and interpret scientific literature, technical reports, and educational materials.
• Support content development initiatives by providing domain expertise and evidence-based recommendations.
