Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking a Chemist to join our laboratory team, performing accurate chemical analysis, testing of customer samples, preparation of solutions, instrument calibration, and meticulous record-keeping.

You will operate ICP-OES, HPLC, IC and ensure timely, reliable results while maintaining safety and quality standards; 3–4 years of lab experience and a chemistry focus are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in a chemical testing lab.
• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments (ICP-OES, HPLC, IC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis and testing of customer samples according to procedures.
• Prepare and standardize reagents and solutions for testing.
• Operate, calibrate and support validation of lab equipment and instruments.
• Conduct testing using ICP-OES, HPLC, IC and routine lab equipment.
• Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of test results.
• Maintain laboratory records and test reports.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of samples and chemicals.
• Follow safety, quality standards and internal processes.
• Assist in troubleshooting and process improvements.
