Job summary

Chemistry for Sustainability is seeking a Junior Consultant to support environmental compliance initiatives. The role involves validating technical data, managing product material content, and ensuring adherence to global harmonized standards (RoHS/REACH) across supplier data and internal records.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry/materials background, strong data-handling skills, and excellent written and spoken English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Sustainability or related field, with 1 year minimum experience.
Experience with parametric data, datasheets, or technical drawings is preferred.
Knowledge of product compliance, FMD data, MSDS is required.
Strong English verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Data Management: document material and substance content from technical sources and update project records.
Supplier and Client Communications: support suppliers with regulatory and compliance data and maintain client relations.
Progress Tracking and Reporting: monitor activities and prepare technical reports for stakeholders.
Technical Data Utilization: use engineering documents to meet client needs and ensure compliant data.
Risk Assessment: assist senior engineers in evaluating material composition risks and document data collection processes.
