Responsibilities:

• Analyze all nickel ore samples including shipment using XRF daily.
• Perform daily quality control using CRM’s and In-House standards to check XRF’s credibility.
• Organize and delegates work to direct subordinates.
• Receives, examines and records through log-in process inbound items for testing.
• Performs testing of samples and quality control specimens using specified methodology.
• Troubleshoots minor problem.
• Recognize and examine discrepancies in results.
• Maintains documentation, equipment and work areas in a neat and orderly condition.
• Direct, coordinate and organize subordinates to produce timely output.
• Implement proper presentation of samples in laboratory.
• Encourages subordinates to practice in a safe work environment.
• Coordinate and ask for approval for any suggested changes in procedure, methods and routine to Immediate Head.
• Check all received samples and data if free of errors prior to turn-over.
• Performs other related functions as necessary.

Qualifications:
