About the role

We are seeking a Chemical Technician who will play a key role in ensuring water treatment quality, supporting laboratory testing, conducting analyses, and providing technical assistance to projects. The Chemist will also work closely with engineers to support system design, commissioning, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct chemical and physical analysis of water, wastewater, and treatment media.
• Perform laboratory testing on ion exchange resins, activated carbon, and filtration media.
• Support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of project.
• Develop test methods, maintain laboratory records, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide technical support to the engineering and operations team in troubleshooting treatment systems.
• Assist in R&D initiatives for new water and wastewater treatment technologies.
• Ensure laboratory safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.

About you

• Licensed Chemical Technician (required).
• At least 6-months of laboratory or water treatment industry experience (fresh board passers with strong potential may be considered).
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes is an advantage.
• Proficient in laboratory testing, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
