About the role
The Chemical Engineer / Analyst is responsible for conducting chemical analysis, monitoring laboratory and process activities, and providing accurate technical results to support quality, safety, environmental, and operational requirements. The position ensures that testing and analysis are performed in accordance with established procedures, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
Conducts chemical testing and analysis of raw materials, products, water, wastewater, and other samples as required.
Prepares samples, reagents, solutions, and laboratory materials for testing.
Operates and maintains laboratory equipment and instruments in accordance with established procedures.
Records, validates, and analyzes laboratory results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Prepares laboratory reports, test results, and other required technical documentation.
Monitors chemical processes and identifies deviations, abnormalities, or potential quality concerns.
Supports quality control and quality assurance activities through accurate and timely analysis.
Ensures proper handling, storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste.
Ensures compliance with laboratory safety procedures, chemical handling requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
Conducts investigations and assists in identifying root causes of abnormal or non-conforming results.

Knowledge of applicable industry standards, laboratory practices, and regulatory requirements.
Experience in preparing technical reports and maintaining laboratory documentation.
Willingness to work in a laboratory, plant, or operational environment as required.
Flexible and able to work beyond regular hours when operational requirements demand.
