Job summary

IKEA Philippines is seeking an experienced kitchen associate to attract store visitors through excellent service and appealing food offers. You will prepare meals, ensure food safety, maintain kitchen operations, and support a collaborative team in a fast-paced retail kitchen environment.

applicants should have 5+ years as a line cook or similar role, strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP, and a passion for delivering great food experiences.

• Ability to follow standardized recipes, production plans and portion specs.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Basic proficiency with Word and Excel; comfortable with PC apps.

Responsibilities

• 1. Food Preparation & Production: prepare meals according to recipes, menus, and plans; maintain quality and portion control.
• 2. Food Safety & HACCP: apply safety procedures, monitor temps and times, ensure hygiene and proper labeling.
• 3. Kitchen Operations: keep workstation clean and organized; sanitize equipment; support opening/closing routines.
• 4. Co-worker Restaurant Service: ensure meals are available and served on schedule; support teamwork for timely service.
• 5. Documentation & Administration: complete records, assist with inventory, and use Microsoft Word/Excel for reporting.
• 6. Teamwork & Development: collaborate with chefs and co-workers; share knowledge and participate in training and improvement initiatives.
