Job summary

Royal Caribbean International is seeking a Chef de Partie 3 (CDP3) to join its onboard culinary team. This role offers leadership experience in a high-volume, international hospitality environment aboard a cruise ship, with opportunities to progress toward Chef de Partie and Sous Chef positions.

You will supervise a galley station, coach junior team members, ensure food safety standards are met, and collaborate with senior chefs to deliver exceptional guest dining experiences in a multi-venue

Qualifications

• Experience in hotels, resorts, cruise ships, restaurants, or large-scale hospitality operations.
• Strong culinary foundation with knowledge of international cuisine and food production.

• Good understanding of HACCP, food hygiene, and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and train Commis Chefs and junior culinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management, stock requisitions, receiving deliveries, and food cost control.
• Monitor food quality, consistency, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Maintain equipment and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
• Support culinary training programs and succession planning initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Sous Chefs and senior galley leaders to achieve operational excellence.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
