Job summary

BDO Unibank in Metro Manila is seeking a Chargeback Issuing Officer to mitigate operational risk and ensure timely, accurate resolution of cardholder disputes, aligned with brand timeframes for retrieval and chargeback processing.

The role involves reviewing second level disputes, monitoring case progress, and ensuring adherence to disputes guidelines. You will also manage AR/AP schedules, maintaining transparency and timely float resolution.

Qualifications

• Four- or five-year degree, preferably in business.
• At least 3 years of chargeback experience in credit cards or banking.
• Willing to be assigned on-site in Ortigas.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and resolve second level disputes and chargebacks.
• Monitor case progress and resolve cases according to disputes guidelines and standards.
• Ensure compliance with brand rules and set policies to avoid operational loss/lapses.
• Monitors and processes case filings.
• Timely escalation and resolution of issues.
• Provide timely and accurate status of AR and AP GL schedules, ensuring transparency and resolution of float items on time.

The Chargeback Issuing Officer is responsible for mitigating operational risk and preventing or minimizing losses through timely and accurate resolution of cardholders' disputes and ensuring compliance with the Brand's international standard time frames for retrieval and chargeback processing

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes and accurately resolves second level dispute and chargebacks


• Monitoring and timely resolution of cases and should be according with established disputes guidelines and standards


• Ensures compliance with brand rules and set policies and procedures to avoid operational loss/lapses


• Monitors and processes cases filing


• Timely escalation and resolution of issues


• Provide timely and accurate status of AR and AP GL schedules, ensuring transparency and resolution of float items on time

Qualifications

• Graduate of four or five year course, preferably Business-related course


• At least 3 years chargeback experience in credit card business or banking institution


• Must be willing to be assigned and work on-site in Ortigas
