Job Overview

As a Change Manager, you will drive the human side of change, ensuring smooth transitions and high adoption rates for strategic initiatives. You will work both strategically—aligning individual projects with the broader enterprise transformation portfolio—and tactically, managing stakeholders, designing champion networks, and mitigating resistance through emotionally intelligent frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Alignment & Narrative: Partner with the department head to contribute to the enterprise change narrative; ensure individual initiatives are strategically positioned within the broader transformation portfolio.
  • Sponsor Enablement: Coach, prepare, and activate executive sponsors to serve as visible change champions. Develop tailored sponsor roadmaps and leader communication guides.

Assess technology adoption dimensions and partner with IT and operations to design digital enablement, systems training, and user adoption strategies.
  • Psychological & Emotional Change Management: Apply psychological change models (e.g., Kübler‑Ross) to design emotionally intelligent interventions. Equip line managers with the tools to support their teams through every stage of the transition curve.
  • Change Planning & Execution: Develop detailed change management plans with clear timelines, deliverables, and success metrics (including communication plans, training needs, and resistance management tactics).
  • Communications & Culture Reinforcement: Design and deliver clear, consistent, and timely communications across various channels. Assess structural and cultural implications of change, developing strategies that embed target behaviors into performance frameworks.
  • Sustainability & Reinforcement Planning: Develop 30/60/90‑day post‑implementation sustainability plans. Design robust reinforcement mechanisms, including success recognition, corrective action, and benefits realization tracking.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Track implementation progress, measure effectiveness against planned objectives, gather feedback, analyze adoption data, and report progress to leadership.
What You Need – Non‑Negotiables (Must‑Haves)
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of progressive change management experience, including proven experience with large‑workforce deployments (1,000+ employees).
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across complex stakeholder landscapes, with the specific ability to influence and advise VP/Director‑level stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Methodology: Demonstrated fluency in at least one structured framework (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin, McKinsey 7‑S).
Nice‑to‑Haves (Preferred)
  • Certifications: PROSCI, CCP, ACMP CCMP, or equivalent certification.
