Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with PFRS and accounting best practices.
• Manage the general ledger, record transactions, and reconcile accounts monthly.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
• Perform variance analysis and investigate deviations from budgeted and actual figures.
• Prepare tax compliance documents and ensure timely filing of tax returns and submissions.
• Maintain accounting records and documentation per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits with required documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with management to develop accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in working capital management.
• Contribute to management reports and financial presentations for senior leadership.

About the role

Twin Cardinal Realty Corporation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our Finance and Accounting team. This is a full-time position based in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila. As a CPA, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our real estate operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and providing accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This position is essential to our commitment to operational excellence and financial transparency in the real estate sector.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and accounting best practices
• Manage the general ledger, ensure proper recording of transactions, and reconcile accounts on a monthly basis
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, accruals and adjustments
• Perform variance analysis and investigate significant deviations from budgeted and actual figures
• Prepare tax compliance documents and ensure timely filing of tax returns and regulatory submissions
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Monitor cash flow and assist in working capital management initiatives
• Contribute to the preparation of management reports and financial presentations for senior leadership
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Current and active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission of the Philippines
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field
• Minimum of 4–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in financial accounting and reporting roles
• Strong proficiency in Philippine accounting and tax regulations
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing financial statements under PFRS
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Knowledge of real estate accounting is preferred but not required
