The role requires stepping into gaps across the organization, building systems and processes that didn’t exist before, and serving as a trusted sounding board on sensitive calls.

Qualifications

• Prior experience being 'the person the CEO calls' for the hardest, least-defined problems
• Exceptional written and verbal communication — can brief a founder in two minutes
• Demonstrated judgment operating with significant autonomy and trust
• Comfortable being generalist-first: no project is 'not my job'
• History of thriving in environments with minimal process and high stakes

Responsibilities

• Run point on the CEO's highest-priority, cross-functional initiatives
• Prepare leadership for board meetings, investor conversations, and key decisions
• Step into gaps across the org wherever urgent execution is needed
• Build systems and processes that didn't exist before you arrived
• Serve as a trusted sounding board for leadership on sensitive calls
