Selecta Philippines is seeking a Cell Lead (First Line Manager) to oversee a cluster of semi-autonomous teams in our ice cream manufacturing facility. You will provide governance, performance monitoring, and support for overtime allocation, working patterns, and dispute resolution.

• Lead improvement projects for operational processes.
• Interpret diagnostics in chemical and electro-mechanical processes and address key issues.
• Drive semi-autonomous team work and reduce waste using ICMS methodologies.
• Ensure clear communication across the factory and liaison with core functions.

Job description

The Role

The Cell Lead (First Line Manager) is a management professional with a good technical understanding of manufacturing, general or chemical engineering or food technology.

What you'll be responsible for

• Provide the governance function for a cluster of semi-autonomous teams, delivering
• management and leadership support for performance monitoring, overtime allocation, working patterns and dispute resolution.
• Retain responsibility for the Technical and Basic Operators within the semi-autonomous team but is not involved in the day to day team management beyond the monitoring and performance management role.
• Lead improvement projects for operational processes
• Interpret technical diagnostics in chemical and electro-mechanical processes and controls, identify key issues, and process risks
• Drive semi-autonomous team's work and eradicate waste to counter losses by using their ICMS methodologies and IP Processes.
• Provide common standard of communication and engagement across the factory. You will liaise closely with the core factory functions, including Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Quality and Safety to achieve this.
