Job summary

Magnum RFM Ice Cream, Inc. seeks a Cell Lead (First Line Manager) with strong manufacturing knowledge to govern semi-autonomous teams and support performance monitoring across the factory.

You will manage overtime, working patterns and dispute resolution while retaining responsibility for operators in your cluster. You will lead improvement projects, interpret process diagnostics, and drive waste reduction using ICMS and IP processes.

• Experience in end-to-end manufacturing in FMCG environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clear, consistent communication across factory with Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Quality and Safety.

Job description

The Cell Lead (First Line Manager) is a management professional with a good technical understanding of manufacturing, general or chemical engineering or food technology.

What you'll be responsible for

Provide the governance function for a cluster of semi-autonomous teams, delivering

management and leadership support for performance monitoring, overtime allocation, working patterns and dispute resolution.

Retain responsibility for the Technical and Basic Operators within the semi-autonomous team but is not involved in the day to day team management beyond the monitoring and performance management role.

Lead improvement projects for operational processes

Interpret technical diagnostics in chemical and electro-mechanical processes and controls, identify key issues, and process risks

Drive semi-autonomous team’s work and eradicate waste to counter losses by using their ICMS methodologies and IP Processes.

Provide common standard of communication and engagement across the factory. You will liaise closely with the core factory functions, including Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Quality and Safety to achieve this.
